Club budget process:
It’s helpful to review the Budget Process and Guidelines, Budget Proposal Do’s and Don’ts, Incentives & Budget Deadlines.
The Finance Committee is releasing budgets for the next year. The budget process this year will be different than the past few years. We are increasing budgets, expanding the incentives, and shifting to google platforms. This process will be in two stages where we will (1) collect data and incentives and (2) allocate your budget. The first stage will allow your club to be eligible for an extra $500 across 2024-2025.These include:
Early submissions are due by April 8th, April 14th, and April 21st
$160 for uploading photos and videos of your club events and fun throughout the year
$160 for collecting club testimonials from members that have attended events
$20 for providing your next E-Board so that USG and OSL can help prep them for next year, if your club is still processing elections, this is something that you shouldn’t worry about
To complete the budget:
Make a copy of this google sheet: Example Club - Prelim Budget Form, all club leaders have received this email. Yet, it is the treasurer's role to create the budget. However, you must also coordinate with your team such as secretary for meeting info and VP/President and other members
Relabel the title with your OSL approved club name so it is “X club - Prelim Budget Form”

1. Your E-Board
Fill out the form, the most important incentives are the media/testimonials which require the most work
The most important forms to complete for a larger incentive are the testimonials and media. The media can be submitted by club members/E-Board. The testimonials must come from either new members or returning members that are not a part of E-Board. If you are not interested in any incentives, please check the box on the “Overview” page of the form. After, please fill out the attendance and participation forms to the best of your ability. Stage 2 will be released after the completion of this form and will be shared to your inbox.
Arthur.Bugayev@usg-baruch.com will be managing incentives, any questions can be directed to her.We are excited to hear from you, please feel free to reach out if you have any comments/questions.
A picture is worth a thousand words, we want to use this incentive to ensure that clubs on campus can showcase their events over this past year through photos/videos. By sharing media, we can seek additional funding for student clubs, including your own! Reach out to Arthur.Bugayev@usg-baruch.com or Finance@usg-baruch.com with questions..
USG Incentive - New Member Testimonial
This is a chance for USG to help advocate for a larger budget for clubs by sharing how members of the Baruch community were impacted by student club life. An incentive and larger budget will be approved if clubs can showcase how new members have participated in the past semester. Please send this form to a student that has joined your club in Fall 2024 or Spring 2025. Reach out to Arthur.Bugayev@usg-baruch.com or Finance@usg-baruch.com with questions.
USG Incentive - Returning Member Testimonial
This is a chance for USG to help advocate for a larger budget for clubs by sharing how members of the Baruch community were impacted by student club life. An incentive and larger budget will be approved if clubs can showcase how new members have participated in the past semester. Please send this form to a student that has joined your club prior to Fall 2024. Reach out to Arthur.Bugayev@usg-baruch.com or Finance@usg-baruch.com with questions.
